Track Live Data for Future and Options - NSE

All the exchanges provide various trading data both live and historic on their official websites. Some of these data are paid and others free. 

NSE's real time data is provided in three levels (level 1, level 2,level 3 and tick by tick). Level 1 provides best bid and ask price, Level 2 provides market depth data upto 5 best bid and ask prices and Level 3 provides market depth data upto 20 best bid and ask prices.

Various market data on NSE can be tracked on their website. On the homepage, click on MARKET DATA and under that go to Derivatives Market.


Inside EQUITY DERIVATIVES tab, you can get the list of all the contracts including Stock Futures, Stock Options, Index Futures and Index Options.

 

To check the futures data, e.g. stock future data for ICICI Bank, you can select Stock Futures from the drop-down. This page provides data like Future Price (LAST PRICE), Underlying Asset Price i.e. Stock Price (UNDERLYING VALUE) - usually future prices are slightly higher than underlying asset price, VOLUME, OPEN INTEREST etc for each SYMBOL.

On clicking on the symbol, you can see more details for the selected stock future for different expiry dates.


Similarly, you can select Stock Options from Equity Derivatives tab for option contracts for various stocks.

You can select the Expiry Date, Call Type and Strike Price to view the contract details  by clicking on the + sign.

 Go to the Option Chain tab, by default it shows the option chain at all the strike prices.

 

You get data like LTP (Last traded price - Premium), IV (Intrinsic Volatility), Volume, OI (Open Interest), Change in OI, Bid/Ask Price/Quantity at each Strike Price in a significant range. By clicking on the green icon, you get the graphical data for the changes in call and put options for each strike price.

One can keep track movements during market hours with indicators like change in OI, IV to take trading decisions during market hours.
